Anybody planning for this? We are hitting a few sites in Utah and planning to arrive on Wednesday, 23 March, and departing by 2 April. That gives us a few days with EJS and a few days after the chaos ends.

I'm getting nervous. So far, I have been unable to reserve trails on the RedRock 4Wheelers website, likely due to overwhelming response to the 60th anniversary event. I had 4 trails picked and hope to reserve them, but it's looking bad. I'm already having to move my RV camp site to three locations throughout the week. Yeah, 1%-er problems...

Meanwhile, I've bee busy building my LJ and will be adding a body lift and motor mount lift this weekend. I've added beefier trackbar, tie rod, sway bar discos, rear bumper/tire swing, and plenty of other hardware in the past few months. This has been a slow but fun build. (Oh sorry...this isn't the Wrangler forum ha ha).

Thanks, Jon. I've only done a few things with the '05 LJ Rubicon since purchasing it last July. The PO installed a front Smittybilt bumper and XRC winch, hard top, rack, 31" BFG KO2's, slotted/drilled rotors and brakes, 2" Rough Country suspension lift and shocks. I'll replace the front bumper as soon as I can find a suitable replacement.

I've added:

Matching KO2 spare
1.5" wheel spacers
Dirtworx rear bumper and tire swing
Adjustable trackbar
JKS swaybar disconnects
ZJ tie rod and TREs
JKS 1.25" body lift and 1" motor mount lift
1" seat risers
Windshield light brackets and Cree LEDs
Bumper mounted Cree LEDs
Optima Yellow Top and Ruff Stuff battery box
Tail light CB antenna bracket
CB and Firestick antenna
D44 Lube Lockers
Rollbar grab handles and water bottle holders
Fire extinguisher holder
Tuffylocking glove box, hood lock, and under seat safe
Modified licence plate holder (gets rid of OE plastic)
Tailgate cargo system

Here's a few shots I took last weekend after the body lift installation.

I plan on keeping this fairly mild, with a 4" lift and 35's only. I might even run 33's to avoid swapping gears. New rails, bumper, tires, fenders, and lift will come soon.

By the way, EJS should be great fun. We were only able to get 4 easy/mild runs from Thurs-Sun, but will stay the following week and run several other runs once the crowds disperse. Kevin should have his XJ fixed soon and is planning to meet us there.

If you want to donate those wheels and tires to me, that is satisfactory.. Haha
By "mild", I am sure you mean Long arms ft/rear, Bilsteinn 7100's, WJ steering and brakes, and Currier anti-rock trackbars?

It will take me a long time to wear down these tires, and I'll wait to do that before adding a taller lift and new set of 35's. I doubt I'll put as much into this rig as past Jeeps, so mild is the word I'll stick with.

New to the forum... Thinking about attending this. Ideally I'd like to drive my mostly stock XJ from Sonoma to Moab. Some friends from Fresno will be heading there in their new, albeit stock JK

You'll want to do some research on where to stay, as camp sites and hotels are likely booked solid. In fact, we have to move RV sites three times while there. All trails have been sold out since the first few days registration opened. I'm staying a few days after the event so I can run some trails without the pricey reg fees. Good luck.
