So I had some rot repair under my OEM plastic battery tray -- I cut out the rot and welded in new -- decided it was time for a custom aluminum box
This is the nasty that I cut out
No pictures actually doing the repair but here it is finished and coated in POR15
Built my new battery mount/box out of 1/8th aluminum sheet
decided to play with my new TMR customs dimple die set
Designed around this battery from Sams club -- It's made by East Penn and is a Deka intimidator AGM clone
Test fit the box in the jeep
It's been pulled for paint, Still need to make the top battery hold down strap -- Hope to get it finished this week
