More Chili Cookoff Pics

Headed out to the race Sat with the wife. After loading up and breakfast I got to pit one around 11 and ran across to Pit 3 at mi 24.5. Hung out took a few pics of the Jeepspeeds. I forgot to save and erase pics on my memory card so I didn't get all of them :( BLM was out patroling, they were out in bad ass V8 truggy and Chevy trucks so my wife and I stayed back the required 150' from the course behind the spectator fence. We were the only spectators there, rest were in the "pit." We left about 330 when the rain started coming in. I have shock envy bad now, think I'm going to go thru the floor in the rear :loveu: wife gave me the green light for 7100 but I want the Crazy Jim 9100. Ha Ha here are a few pics.

He said he was going about 75 mph there and he never saw us either. Scary, but within 10 min. had it going back on the track headed for one more lap and a finish. Atleast he didn't hit my new rear fender i just put on. ;D

Them generals sure do seem popular. What size is everyone running? They look like skinny 33's (33x10.5) but i didn't know they made any...? Or is that size for racers only?

the generals are mandated tires for jeepspeed now. the grabber 33x10.50 r15 will be coming out in i think october. it will be a dot tire per our jeepspeed rules. jeepspeed is the only reason they are making it dot. right now you can get a 285/16, 33x12.50 r15 and on up in the red letter.

We had the 33x10.50's for Vegas to Reno,not impressed with the tread pattern on them and yes they are different than the 16's.285-16 way better.

they are making a new 33x10.50 grabber not the one you ran. the new one will be just like the 285

the 3701 broke the shocks. 1712 broke the drivers side knuckle. by the time we could have fixed it we would have timed out
