Yeah, I just signed up for the Government Bling Program. I get gold teeth and spinners for my ride (which is nicer than yours I might add). I just don't make enough off of welfare and selling crack to support the nine kids with nine differet women and have necessities the Bling Program can give me. I don't worry because it's all free, unless of course you get off your *ss and work for a living to pay taxes, then you don't qualify. Hold on, it's only going to get worse....

this is ridiculous. that picture right there is probably one of the reasons why our economy sucks, were giving away money to people that don't need it.

LOL, you want one don't you, i know you do...LOL
$200 a month for like 5 lines, I would love a free cell phone.

1 for me, 2 for my wife(one local as she is trying to find a job and people would not call long distance). one for the MIL, and one that stays on the kitchen counter for local calls like Pizza and such. Hell, 3 of them are blackberrys.

Aren't people serving food to the public supposed to be wearing hair nets or something of the sort?

we cannot have the first lady looking like the common people can we???

besides, that is ROYAL hair, you would actually be healthier after eating it. I am sure there are a few fruitcakes out there who would like to have some of Mrs. Obama's hair Pie.

Aw geez - why not? After all, every American has a Gawd-given right to a camera phone, no?

We shell out $90 for three lines a month - and that's on the cheapest plan that they had. Why don't they have anything lower? We only use them to co-ordinate activity and to handle emergencies, I don't think we've ever used all 500 minutes we're paying for. I'd like to knock it down to about 100 minutes (we'd get closer to using them all that way...) but no-one seems to want to offer anything that low. Damn.

Any Minutes you do not use will roll-over. Features such as caller ID, call waiting and voicemail are all also included with your service.
Great. They get rollover minutes and don't have to pay for any of them - I don't get anything for not using all of mine (we never do.) And CID, call waiting, and voicemail? Jhyzuz - this is getting stupid.

I may have to look into this. Hell - if handouts are going all around, I may as well get in on the action, no?

Question - is this going to replace "Universal Lifeline" service, and that damned fee gets dropped from my landline bill, or what? How does this nonsense get paid for?

We’re sorry, but SafeLink Wireless does not currently offer Lifeline Service in your area. We are currently offering service in parts of Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia with plans to begin offering service soon in the States listed below.
Figures. No service in CA, nor do they plan to offer it yet. They'll be offering it soon in DC, tho...
