Anyone (Who is not going to the CRAWL) doing any trail rides in the North Ga mountains on July 4th?

I have people bugging me about wheeling Gulches that weekend...

I'll be on the lake.

The CRAWL is too far away. Don't have $100 in gas to go do Harlan on 33's.

I don't have anything to do that day or for my birthday on the 5th.

Yeah, it sucks rather badly that the only good place to host a ride like that is 7 hours away.

I could do that if I drove to your house... But I still want to wheel my Jeep lol. I don't know what I'll do-depends on if this OP wants to go somewhere fun

I will have to leave it up to you locals (I will be coming up from FL and already have $300 in gas for the week!) as to where to ride. My only experience in the area is the forest roads over Springer Mountain. Used to run ATV's there before they closed it. Did a few roads with the XJ there last Turkey Day. Just vacationing in the Blue Ridge area but would like to join in if anything gets thrown together. If not, my son and I might still bite the bullet and head to Ky.
