Hey all,
Just had a nice chat with Chris over at Total Fabrication Solutions down in the Springs. What a great shop! Chris was extremely easy to talk to and is a cherokee addict to boot. Any custom work you need done...armor, turbo kits for the 4 litre, bumbers, sliders...you name it. Saw a few of his works in progress and am very impressed.

good question...a "bumber" is knowing that you can count all of the parts originally on your jeep on one hand...or some other variation. Haha! ( they don't specialize in manufacturing "bumber, but if you ask nice, Chris might be able to whip something together). armor and bumPers and the such like, however, they can do.

They are located in the Claremont Business Park Hwy 24 and Markscheffel (in Colorado Springs) They are on Woolsey Heights next to Ariels Gymnastics don't have the number. Here are the bumpers they built for my XJ. I know I am building it all backwards bumpers before lift, but hey, it's all good. Both bumpers are super clean and the finish work is top notch.

I also have a set of their body armor, no pictures yet but I will put some up soon of the body armor.

His prices are quite reasonable, and dont quote me but I think he makes steel end caps to match the stock ones too...

Chris Lassater (sp?) is his name and he's been a NAXJA guy for quite a while.

He generously donated a pair of his rear quarter armor for the CO Fest raffle - really nice pieces! If I had rear quarters, I'd be buying a set....... :D

he is super easy to talk to, a very genuine guy, and did not mind talking to a 19 year old college kid for about an hour or so...I haven't meet but a few members of the Colorado jeep community, and even just from cruising around NAXJA, I have seen the passion not only for jeeps, but also compassion for the fellow jeeper as well. Everyne here seems to love helping each other out. Needless to say, I am impressed.(sorry of-topic, but seemed appropriate).

A man crush so strong that I'll have to see what it's all about when I head to the springs Friday. So where is this place.

Yeah, I don't know where any of that stuff is. I need an address to type in to the GPS. I'm still new here. It's not 100% clear but I'm assuming that it is near the intersection of Hwy 24 and Markscheffel, but actually on a street named Woolsey Heights.

Its the Woosley heights one. Easiest way is powers east to HW94. Left on HW94. follow 94 to a quick right on Meadow Brooke and then a right on Woosley Heights. It's a loop kind of thing and he is on the right hand side about half way down.
