Im looking at buying a bike again, went and looked at a bike today and ask the salesman about insurance. He mentioned that alot of people dont carry it because its not required. So I looked it up on line and sure as sh!t http://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/insurance.html
However I need it to ride on base, so I was wondering whoever rides what insurance company do you use? Im looking at getting a sport bike. In san diego I was paying 375 a year for full coverage on a sport touring (katana)

USAA hands down, they mostly do military people.

I don't ride but they have been the best with everything. The black jeep got hit a while ago (just in the tire) we got a check the same week.
The red jeep is going good so far, we will see soon.

We have everything with them.

Check out PNWRiders.com and search for the insurance guys...there's several members on there who are insurance agents and from what I hear hook it up. You DO need to get an endorsement to ride in WA. It's a totally separate test for motorcycles, just like the driving test.

I don't have insurance on my bike though, so I couldn't tell ya. I looked at some insurance once before, but they wanted more money than my bike is worth.
