Wanted D44 front axle

Kelly keep your eyes on pirate. I got my hp44 with 4.88s and an ARB for 1500$...then I threw a ton of money at it. But you can find em build for 800$ and throw very little money at it.

they have been for a long while. you could part out what is left of both of your current axles to cover most of the cost of these things.
also a super built up ford d60, but you would need to take it to WFO to have it narrowed down to like 63 WMS to WMS, that might run another 500$.
theres also a dirt cheap jana 76 (only 3500, super built) on there, but its pass drop (get a pass drop atlas)
there was also a amazing currie front hi9 housing with third for 550$+900 but the housing sold already. Amazing prices on pirate for really built stuff in the CL there.

Thanks for the info, guys. I do a little research when I can and I expect this to be a long and painful process. I'll sell my Warn hub kit with 4340 axle shafts to defer some of the cost. Rear 60 would be good, but I JUST added a rear disk conversion and don't need to replace the 8.25 quite yet. I'll regear to 4.88 though. Replacing the D30 is first, then I'll move to the rear. Must get the POS off jack stands soon.
I'll check all links above. I'd love a reason to drive up north for a weekend, so travel is not a problem.
