Will JK locker fit in XJ Dana 44?

Will a detroit locker from a non-rubicon JK work in my XJ dana 44?

Simple answer; no

However I believe with a Jana 44 kit from Jantz it could.... (I think)

yes it will..

You just have to use "Thick" cut gears if you go 3.92 or larger ratio.

Your Detroit if it has std cut 3.92 or larger gears on it now, will NOT fit in a JK. All JK gear sets in the D44's (both Rubi and non rubi) are "thick" cut and work with 3.73 and less carrier/lockers.

Lol that shows how much I don't really know about JK 44s still....

I guess I just assumed since the gears were bigger and it is kinda the 'new gen' 44 that the carriers were different too.

and just to clarify though...

JK Rubi is a metric bearing carrier and the carrier/locker will Not fit any non JK rubi housing.
